65 min | Documentary
Director: Alessandro Angulo Brandestini
Through interviews, archival material, and supporting footage, we will remember and celebrate the life and work of Colombian writer Álvaro Mutis, who for many was the leader of his generation. A generation made up of the greatest intellectuals of the time (the 1950s in Bogotá), who quickly became his closest friends. However, his willingness to help them was unfairly turned into a complaint that led to his imprisonment in Mexico, which had a profound impact on his life and work. After leaving Lecumberri, he settled in that country and worked for several years in advertising, before devoting himself to his literature, establishing himself as one of Colombia's most important writers.
